Children and Young People's Services

Social Care Academy provides domiciliary care services to support children and young people in their own home. Support provided includes help with day to day activities including, washing, dressing and eating, support to get ready for school or college, support to relax at home.  

We also provide respite services for children and young people. This is a temporary break for parents or carers of children with additional needs. This gives parents a break when they most need it by offering an extra pair of hands to care for the child while the parent takes ‘time out’, or uses the time to fulfil other chores.
